Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan Join ‘The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power’ Ahead of Season 3

Actors Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan are expected to join the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” for its upcoming third season. Bower is slated to become a series regular, while Marsan will have a recurring part. Production for the new season has already begun and filming will start this spring at Shepperton Studios in the United Kingdom.

As a passionate movie enthusiast, I can’t help but acknowledge the impressive range of roles that David Harbour has taken on. Most notably, he gained recognition for his chilling portrayal of Henry Creel, or as many know him, Vecna, in Netflix’s Stranger Things. He’s also graced our screens as Mick Jagger in Urban Myths: Mick & Margaret, Christopher Marlow in Will, and a captivating King Arthur in Camelot. Interestingly enough, he even lent his voice to Skiff in Thomas & Friends.

Marsan is primarily recognized for portraying the character Terry Donovan in the Showtime series “Ray Donovan,” which spanned over seven seasons. He resurfaced in the 2022 movie adaptation of the show. Among his other significant roles are appearances in films such as “Deadpool 2”, “Atomic Blonde”, “Wrath of Man”, and “White Boy Rick”. Additionally, he has been featured in the TV shows “Deceit” and “Ridley Road”.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power serves as a prequel to the Lord of the Rings films.

The show is overseen by executive producers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, joined by Lindsey Weber, Justin Doble, Kate Hazell, and director Charlotte Brändström. Matthew Penry-Davey serves as the main producer, while Ally O’Leary, Tim Keene, and Andrew Lee take on co-producer roles.
