Michelle Trachtenberg received a tribute from her former partner, Zane Carney, who is a guitarist. On social media, he reminisced about the past and expressed his surprise at the passing of the actress known for her role in Gossip Girl.

On Instagram, Carney shared an old picture featuring himself, Trachtenberg, and two other children. He reminisced about the time he initially crossed paths with his future crush, eventually leading to them dating.

Zane Carney shared that he was part of Dave’s World from 1993 to 1997, a time period before he began playing the guitar. Furthermore, he confessed to having a massive crush on the late actress after watching her in Harriet the Spy. As a fan, he even purchased all the merchandise and repeatedly watched the series’ episodes on VHS.

On a day as splendid as the sun itself, I received a call with news that left me trembling: Michelle Trachtenberg was set to grace the next episode of Dave’s World! As I stood face-to-face with her for the first time, my heart pounded like a drum. But there I was, in the presence of an idol, trying not to appear too starstruck.

Soon the two became “boyfriend and girlfriend.” 

The artist behind ‘Driving in Circles’ expressed that Michelle was his initial heart’s delight. He referred to her as a one-of-a-kind soulful gem, mentioning that her absence will be felt eternally.

According to PEOPLE’s report, police officers were called to a location on February 26 due to a 911 emergency. Upon their arrival, Michelle Trachtenberg was declared deceased.
