There’s been talk about whether the show “The Boys” might have a full Supernatural reunion before it concludes. With Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing Soldier Boy and (the deceased) Joe Kessler, fans had hoped that the final season would include Jared Padalecki. We knew that Eric Kripke wanted Padalecki on “The Boys” and that the actor was prepared to join the cast. Now, the show’s social media accounts have confirmed that both Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins are part of season five.
Everyone recalls Collins from their iconic role as Castiel on Supernatural. For the time being, details about their roles in the upcoming series remain under wraps. However, a press statement has been made confirming that they will appear alongside Ackles’ Soldier Boy character. Clearly, there are some exciting scenes ahead!
Although we haven’t announced the specific launch date yet, it’s likely that this season will air in the year 2026. Given that the second season of Gen V is slated for release this year, this timeline seems plausible.
