Disney has officially confirmed that the next chapter in the Descendants series is on its way! In this upcoming movie, expect to see links between the storyline and Lewis Carroll’s classic tale “Alice in Wonderland,” as it seems all the beloved characters from that narrative will make a comeback for this exciting new installment.
Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker are set to reprise their roles as Princess Red (daughter of the Queen of Hearts) and Princess Chloe (daughter of Cinderella).

We now know that the upcoming movie will air on both Disney Channel and Disney+, with its formal title due to be unveiled shortly.
Based on the information available, the upcoming film is expected to continue the story following the princesses, Red and Chloe, upon their return from their time-travel escapades. The narrative further leads us towards a fairy-tale ending for these two heroines.
In addition to the existing characters, the upcoming movie will also present some new faces in the Wonderland universe. These include Liamani Segura portraying Red’s sister Pink, Brendon Tremblay taking on the role of Max Hatter, Alexandro Byrd playing Luis Madrigal, and Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook.
Furthermore, Leonardo Nam will once again take on the character of Maddox Hatter. The producers are set to unveil the other cast members in due time.
In the upcoming film, Kimmy Gatewood will take charge as director, while Gary Marsh and Suzanne Todd will serve as executive producers. These two individuals were already involved in the production of the previous movie within this series.
Ayo Davis, head of Disney Branded Television, shared insights about the popular franchise. Davis expressed that the affection for the ‘Descendants’ series is profound, and the overwhelming reception to ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red’ last year underscored the fans’ strong interest in these characters and their tales.
Additionally, the president stated, “The upcoming film in our series will carry on the tradition and offer even more enchantment, tunes, and emotional depth that define ‘Descendants’ – all brought to life by a fantastic cast and crew who consistently push the boundaries of this universe with fresh and captivating ideas.
