The divine totems, such as the Totem of Perseverance, are hidden gems that offer beneficial boosts once activated in your camp. The Totem of Perseverance is the fourth one I’ve stumbled upon in my journey so far, as each region has its own set of these mystical artifacts to collect. By now, you’d think I’d be an expert on how they function, but locating the pieces proves to be a challenging puzzle indeed.
To utilize any of the totem fragments you discover, it’s essential first to locate the Totem Base. Each of the four totems has its unique base, and all seven pieces are necessary to fully assemble the Totem. If you’ve gathered all six other pieces, you can’t set them up or enjoy their advantages until you place the base in your camp first.
Where To Buy The Clues For The Totem Of Perseverance Pieces In Galawain’s Tusks
Find This Region’s Vendor In The Solace Keep
In the game Avowed, each region conceals clues that guide players towards the totem pieces for that specific region. To obtain the clue document for the Galawain’s Tusk region, called “Fragments of the Spoils“, you need to buy it from Quartermaster Yorgu located in Solace Keep. The Solace Keep is situated on the eastern part of Galawain’s Tusk and can be accessed after chatting with Warden Kosmin.
When you take Marius along with you while meeting the Warden, he’ll permit your entrance. Later inside, locate the Quartermaster situated at the rear right corner of the room, hidden behind a statue. That’s where you can buy the clue sheet from him for 500 gold.

By treating each line on the riddle paper as a puzzle, you’ll find seven distinct spots scattered throughout Galawain’s Tusk. As you progress through the primary storyline, you’ll likely come across many of these locations naturally, so there’s no need to rush exploring them immediately. If you’re curious about whether you’ve already collected any of these treasures, simply take a peek in your Inventory’s Treasures section.
Totem Base
In the Twinedwood region, the Shrine of Galawain lies southwest from Solace Keep Party Camp. Inside the main part of the shrine, take down the ogres. Then ascend the stairs and look for a smaller area off to the side with another, more modest shrine. It is here where you will discover the Totem’s Core.
Antler Of The Persevering Stag
To locate the Antler of the Tenacious Deer, make your way to the Pathway to the Flower Garden as soon as you set foot in this region. Just before you cross the bridge, notice the narrow trail on its right side that descends. This path will guide you to a platform where you’ll find a figure and the Antler.
Antler Of The Pursued Stag
To locate the third artifact, the Antler of the Chased Deer, search northward from the Primordial Depth: North Beacon. Pay attention to the gap in the fence on your left side as you journey there. Once you reach this point, continue along the path that crosses a lava flow. This will lead you to a spider cave. Inside, navigate through the lava room, take care to burn the prickly bush, and follow the path that emerges after doing so. After leaving the cave, you’ll spot the Pargrun Cache atop a tower in front of you.
Instead of heading into the hidden tunnel, continue straight ahead until you encounter a seemingly solid barrier. With Yazli’s disintegration power, dissolve this barrier and uncover the entrance to the hidden cave. Once inside, remove the thorny bushes to discover the Antler of the Escapee Stag.
Wolf’s Pelt Trophy
In the realm of Avowed, nestled within the southernmost structure of the Ash Forest Outpost, you’ll find the elusive Wolf’s Pelt Trophy. This region’s Starmetal fragment serves as a landmark, though reaching it might be quite the trek if you haven’t yet acquired a travel beacon. However, with the Ash Forest Beacon at your disposal, you can swiftly teleport yourself closer to the action.
When you get to the beacon, make your way towards the outpost located northwest of your current position. At the southernmost structure within this outpost, there are rocky ledges encircling it that can help you climb up to reach the top. That’s where the Wolf’s Pelt Trophy is situated.
Hunter’s Arrows Of Seeking
To get the Seeking Arrows of the Hunter, make your way to the peak of Mt. Forja, focusing on the mining district. If you’re following the game’s primary narrative, you’ll reach this location during the quest “Our Dreams Divide Us Still“. After defeating the main boss here, follow a trail heading south that will eventually guide you to a chest holding the Arrows.
Hunter’s Arrows Of Slaying
To locate the Hunter’s Deadly Arrows, start by following the path from this beacon. Proceed northward through an archway, followed by another one under a stone bridge in the same direction. After that, at the junction with three paths, take the leftmost one and ascend the small hill beneath a third archway. Continue your journey upwards on the rocky ledges to reach the top of the root/cliff structure. Finally, enter the tiny opening there to discover the chest holding the Arrows of Slaying.
Hunter’s Arrows Of Surviving
The final totem piece, known as the Hunter’s Arrows of Endurance, is hidden in the mysterious Lost Village. For an easier search, it’s best to go there immediately after discovering the Antler of the Tenacious Stag. Upon exiting the Pargrun Cache, head left up the rocky slope and then glance towards your southeast to spot a building with a dome shape. Inside this structure, you’ll find the final Totem of Endurance piece on a table.
In the game of Avowed, each totem fragment possesses unique advantages when activated, significantly altering the course of battle. You can activate any totem you meet the prerequisites for, regardless of the number of fragments you’ve acquired. No matter your decision, collecting totem fragments from different regions in Avowed will only heighten your menace on the battlefield.
