Amazon Studios unveiled an initial sneak peek snapshot featuring Nicholas Galitzine portraying He-Man, wielding the Power Sword, in their upcoming “Masters of the Universe” live-action film.
Following numerous rigorous months of preparation, Galitzine excitedly announced on Instagram that production has begun on #MastersOfTheUniverse! Our gifted director, Travis Knight, has brought together an exceptional group of actors and crafted a breathtaking backdrop of Eternia and its neighboring realms. Who stars?
Featuring Nicholas Galitzine as the universally powerful figure alongside him, Camila Mendes portrays Teela, Idris Elba assumes the role of Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin takes on the Sorceress character, and Johannes Haukur Johannesson becomes Fisto. James Purefoy is cast as King Randor, father to Prince Adam/He-Man, while Charlotte Riley embodies He-Man’s mother, Queen Marlena. Additionally, Jon Xue Zhang is playing Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata takes on the role of Suzie, and Christian Vunipola portrays Hussein in this production.
In the fictional villainous crew of Jared Leto’s Skeletor, Alison Brie takes on the role of Evil-Lyn, Sam C. Wilson becomes Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah is cast as Tri-Klops, and Hafthor Bjornsson plays Goat Man.

On June 5th, 2026, the movie “Masters of the Universe” will be unveiled. This project is directed by Travis Knight, with a screenplay penned by Chris Buttler, and initial drafts written by David Callaham as well as Aaron and Adam Nee.
