Yet, the few instances when it occurs, they make a profound impact. Let’s examine some of the most significant deaths in the series and how they influenced the narrative.

As a die-hard fanatic, I can’t help but recount the chilling tale of Magne, the fearless warrior from the League of Villains. In Episode 65, she faced her grim demise at the hands of Overhaul. With a fierce determination to strike him down, she lunged at him only to be snuffed out in an instant when Overhaul unleashed his formidable Quirk. In but a heartbeat, he reduced her upper body to nothing more than dust. The memory of her valor still lingers, a chilling reminder of the power that resides within those who dare to stand against such adversity.

In Sand Hero: Episode 77 – entitled “Snatch”, the hero known as Snatch found himself in a predicament when the League of Villains attacked Overhaul’s conveyance. Regardless of his valiant attempts, he was ultimately outmatched by Dabi and Mr. Compress, who used their unique abilities to burn him to a crisp.

Sir Nighteye, in Episode 77, was All Might’s former sidekick who tragically lost his life during the attack against Overhaul. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he passed away, leaving behind heartfelt words for Mirio and Deku before he did so.

In “Hood” episode 88 of High-End Nomu, a sophisticated version of Nomu named Hood presented a tough challenge for Endeavor. This intense fight tested Endeavor’s abilities to the maximum, but with Hawks lending a helping hand, he ultimately burned down Hood, demonstrating his new status as the top hero.

Intriguingly, in the 109th episode of Curious, we find our protagonist Curious, belonging to the Meta Liberation Army, engaged in a fierce battle with Himiko Toga. Hana Shimura, Episode 111: Regrettably, it was an unfortunate incident from his childhood that claimed the life of Tenko Shimura (who would later become Tomura Shigaraki). His Decay ability inadvertently activated for the first time, leading to the heartbreaking loss of his sister Hana.

In episode 118 of Crust, Crust selflessly put his life on the line to shield Eraser Head from Tomura’s assault. As he did so, his last gesture was a triumphant thumb’s up before turning into dust.

120th Episode: At midnight, Midnight significantly contributed to the fight versus Gigantomachia, yet subsequently met a tragic end after being assaulted by elements from the Paranormal Liberation Front.

In Episode 140 of Star & Stripe, our nation’s greatest hero faced off against Tomura/All For One. Using her formidable power, New Order, Star & Stripe engaged in a fierce battle. Tragically, she lost her life when he touched her face, but not before successfully undermining his powers, leaving him weakened.

In the 159th episode, Toga – known for her unforeseeable nature within their group – selflessly donated her blood to save Uraraka. After the fight, a sense of Toga persisted in Uraraka’s mind, hinting at her peaceful demise.

Although these incidents are relatively uncommon, they’ve had a profound impact on the narrative of My Hero Academia, escalating the tension for both protagonists and antagonists as the story unfolds.
