On April 18, the upcoming film titled “Sinners,” which falls under the genre of vampire movies, is directed by Ryan Coogler. This production features an impressive cast including Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Miller, Jayme Lawson, and Jack O’Connell.
Although details about Hailee Steinfeld’s character, Mary, remain scarce, the film’s trailer released in January provides some clues. In the snippets shown, Mary appears to be forming a romantic relationship with one of Jordan’s two characters. However, a surprising twist later suggests that she might not be as innocent as she seems, potentially portraying a villainous role.
Steinfeld vividly remembered being instantly captivated by the project. “When I first read the script,” she explained, “it was one of those rare instances where it’s an intuitive response. It’s a sensation I’ve experienced just a few times, and it’s both a privilege and a blessing to have had that experience. But once you’ve felt that sensation, all you desire is more of the same.
She likened the current excitement to the time she got her big break with the role in True Grit in 2010, a part that as a teenager, she was nominated for an Oscar for.
Michael B. Jordan praised Saoirse Ronan’s acting in “Sinners” during his conversation with Who What Wear. He stated that her portrayal demonstrated remarkable adaptability and injected a playful spirit into the movie. Furthermore, Jordan mentioned that viewers would undoubtedly be captivated by her performance and have the opportunity to witness an aspect of Ronan they hadn’t seen before.
