Despite having ended in their respective formats (web novel and manhwa), the Solo Leveling anime series continues unabated, now into its second season. To put it simply, the initial season of the anime adaptation has wrapped up, however, the entire series still has plenty more ground to cover.

Season 1 concluded on March 31, 2024, wrapping up Sung Jinwoo’s transformation from the lowest-ranked E-Rank Hunter to the mighty Shadow Monarch. Throughout this season, we followed Jinwoo’s journey, and not only did it unveil his progression, but it also resolved several significant storylines, such as the events leading to the conflict on Jeju Island.

As the initial season drew to a close, this popular anime series has persisted, consistently releasing fresh episodes. The second season of “Solo Leveling” commenced, delving into the Red Gate Arc, a storyline where protagonist Sung Jinwoo finds himself embroiled with the White Tiger Guild.

In a twist of events, the much-anticipated Season 2, titled ‘Emergence from Shadows,’ made its debut on Japanese television stations like TOKYO MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on January 5, 2025, at midnight JST.
