Pondering over whether to acknowledge or disregard Sapadal’s authority in Avowed could lead to diverse results. Consider each potential outcome before you commit to a choice.
When engaged in Avowed gameplay, players encounter numerous challenging choices. Some of these decisions impact the storyline, while others grant formidable divine powers. In the quest titled “Ancient Soil,” players uncover that the voice they’ve been hearing belongs to Sapadal, a once revered deity forgotten by time. This enigmatic figure appears as a hybrid of man and architecture with elements of a tree. As Sapadal communicates with the players, he extends an offer for extraordinary abilities.
In this walkthrough, I’ll delve into the intricacies of deciding whether to take up Sapadal’s power proposal in the game Avowed – a choice that could significantly shape your character’s journey ahead.
If You Accept Sapadal’s Power
Should a player choose to embrace the power of Sapadal, they’ll be granted the Thorn of Sapadal, an extraordinary ability. By spending 30 Essence, this ability allows players to launch energy-infused thorns, capable of momentarily controlling crowds. Keep in mind, there’s a brief 30-second cooldown before the Thorn of Sapadal can be used again. After accepting these powers, another choice lies ahead for players:
In this game, players have the option to either cut the Adra Network or demolish the ruins. If a player opts for cutting the Adra Network, they will acquire the Severed Branch godlike ability. This power, requiring 30 Essence and with a 60-second recharge time, offers maximum speed boost for 20 seconds. Conversely, if a player chooses to destroy the ruins, they will obtain the Scion of the Immortal Land ability. This godlike ability enhances damage output and provides regeneration for 12 seconds. The Scion of the Immortal Land ability is more beneficial as it offers buffs that can be helpful in challenging situations.
If You Reject Sapadal’s Power
As a gamer, if I choose to decline Sapadal’s power offer, I’ll acquire the Godlike’s Will – an extra ability point that I can allocate in my Fighter, Wizard, or Ranger skill trees. Additionally, opting out of the power also seals the fate of the ruins and the Adra Network, as both options will no longer be available. Despite not gaining any direct godlike abilities by turning down the offer, this decision significantly impacts the game’s ending.

Should You Accept Sapadal’s Power Offer?
Absolutely, we suggest the players opt for the power enhancement. This choice grants them two potent, godlike abilities, ideal for tackling challenges ahead in games like Avowed. While choices can sometimes be tough, prioritizing strength is crucial here. The consequences of refusing the power won’t be felt until the game’s conclusion. However, by accepting, they immediately strengthen their character.
