How to Stealth Kill in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In the sequel of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance”, you’ll occasionally need to carry out tasks while blending into the shadows, and that’s where stealth kills come in handy. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to execute a Stealth Kill in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”.

1. Approach your target from behind without being detected. Make sure they don’t spot you or hear any noise that could alert them of your presence.

2. Once you are close enough, press the designated stealth kill button to execute a swift and silent takedown. This will eliminate your target without drawing attention or triggering an alarm.

3. If your target is aware of your presence, you may need to engage in combat instead. In such cases, try to take them down as quickly and quietly as possible to minimize any disturbance.

How to Stealth Kill successfully

To carry out a Stealth Kill in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, ensure that you have a Dagger as your weapon of choice. You can discover these hidden around Bohemia or craft one at the Blacksmith, or buy one from a merchant. Unlike other weapons in KCD2, combat isn’t possible with a Dagger. Instead, it enables you to execute a Stealth Kill.

As a fan, I eagerly equip my Dagger, then slip into stealth mode when I hit the ‘C’ key on my PC keyboard. This covert stance makes me virtually invisible to adversaries, enabling me to creep up undetected for a deadly Stealth Kill.

After that, move closely behind your objective, and when you’re near enough, you’ll notice instructions in the lower right corner of the screen to perform a Stealth Kill. Generally on PC, you need to press and hold the ‘F’ key to accomplish a Stealth Kill. Pressing ‘F’ briefly instead of holding it will result in a Knock Out, which won’t kill your target but rather temporarily incapacitate them quietly for a brief time period.

During a Stealth Kill, your target may try to resist. In this case, symbols will appear on your screen, much like the ones that signal counterattacks or blocking during hand-to-hand combat. If you notice the green Block symbol, click right, but if it’s the blue Counter-Attack symbol, click left. Failure in either instance will prevent you from completing the Stealth Kill and may also warn others nearby to intervene.
