In addition to him, the ensemble of The Odyssey consists of Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, among others. Once again, Universal Pictures and Christopher Nolan will join forces for a project. Notably, these two heavyweights collaborated on the film “Oppenheimer” following Nolan’s departure from his long-term partner, Warner Bros., in 2020.

For anyone captivated, Homer’s renowned poem recounts Odysseus’ decade-long voyage back to his homeland, Ithaca, after the conclusion of the Trojan War.

Next, the narrative immerses the audience in a narrative where Odysseus encounters disturbances from gods and legendary beasts. Meanwhile, his wife and son face the challenges posed by suitors aiming to usurp his position.

The Odyssey will be released in theaters on July 17, 2026.
