GSC Game World has announced that Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is coming to PS5 in late 2025.
The hard-edged role-playing game, situated around the radioactive Chornobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, boasts compatibility with DualSense controller features such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Additionally, the game’s enhancements utilizing the PS5 Pro’s hardware will be accessible on that model of Sony’s console.
Initially, Stalker 2 debuted on PC and Xbox Series X|S in the year 2024, garnering mostly positive feedback despite noticeable technical issues. However, its launch was delayed numerous times, a fact that even the developers found amusing, albeit with dark reasons behind these production hold-ups. The studio’s sudden need to relocate and the loss of life among developers who had contributed to the game were due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
