Scott Thomas expressed her enthusiasm for directing, referring to it as an ‘engrossing adventure’ that took her from selecting locations to finalizing the edited version. She portrayed the movie as a profound exploration of familial ties, specifically focusing on sisterly bonds, drawing upon instances straight from her own childhood experiences.
The movie has been granted distribution rights for North America by Vertical, and they plan to show it in cinemas this summer. Peter Jarowey from Vertical commended the film as an emotionally resonant and affectionate portrayal of the complex charm of family dynamics.
