Brandon Sklenar recently discussed the ongoing legal dispute between his It Ends With Us co-stars, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. During an interview on CBS Mornings, he engaged in a conversation with Gayle King who asked him to take a stance in the legal proceedings involving both parties.
Previously, the actor known for portraying Atlas in the film adaptation publicly expressed his backing for a mother of four on social networking sites. He put up screenshots from the internet and shared them on his Instagram story.
In my chat with the host, I was posed a question about my allegiance between Blake and Justin. However, I don’t view it as a contest. Instead, I proudly declared myself part of Team “It Ends With Us”. I simply wished for everyone to recall our film’s purpose, its message, and continue concentrating on that essence.
In a commitment to truth and justice, I found myself compelled to take legal action. I, being Lively, filed a lawsuit against the director of my recent film, Baldoni, due to his alleged orchestration of a damaging campaign against me. Furthermore, I asserted that he sexually harassed me during the production of the movie, a claim that requires thorough investigation and resolution.
A few weeks on, Baldoni too lodged a rebuttal lawsuit against the actress and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, claiming they tried to prevent him from advertising his own movie.
During the show, Sklenar commented, “I have someone very near to me who has experienced what [Lively’s character, Lily] has been going through for quite some time. I’ve been actively assisting her in dealing with this situation. As a result, that movie holds great significance for me, and it means a lot to her too.
I expressed, “It’s regrettable when the essence of a project gets diluted, and it ends up becoming complex instead.
It Ends With Us is available to stream on Netflix.
