While examining Brooke’s intentions, Taylor and Steffy come to understand that Brooke isn’t making a move to reclaim Forrester Creations from altruism, instead she harbors secret objectives.
It appears they believe that Brooke’s strong longing for Ridge is causing her to strategically persuade Carter to either undermine or give up control of the company. Her charisma and emotional power seem to be key factors in influencing him.
Initially, Steffy tried a similar strategy involving Daphne, but when this approach didn’t work out, she decided to call it off. In the meantime, Hope found herself devastated following her heated dispute with Carter. She was taken aback by his unexpected change of mind about the company and felt deceived.
