The story unfolds immediately following the “So It Begins” quest, marking the 28th mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This segment of the game narrative occurs towards its latter stages. Upon being summoned by Zizka, you are asked to lend your assistance with a pressing matter. The task at hand is to aid Suchdol in resisting an impending siege.

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, there’s a wide variety of tasks at hand, ranging from questioning and disrupting adversaries, to spearheading an attack. Today, let’s delve deeper into the quest called ‘Besieged.’

How To Complete The Besieged Quest In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Initially in this mission, Zizka instructs you to select three of your comrades and engage in a surprise attack on the enemy camp, aiming to reduce the Prague army to ashes with Dry Devil. However, choose wisely among your team members as not everyone may make it through the raid. Your potential allies will be situated at various locations within the castle.

Now is when you should address your team members. Knacker Wolfram can be found in the infirmary. You’ll spot Samuel and Kubayenka sitting on a bench near the western part of the courtyard. Lastly, Janek and Jaroslav will be posted at the outer gates, standing watch.

Interrogate The Prisoner

Initially, assist Dry Devil in questioning our captive. He’s located in the cellar on the northeastern part of the courtyard. During the interrogation, you’ll have numerous strategies to catch your prisoner. You could employ force or persuasive words to make the prisoner reveal the desired information, or simply let Dry Devil handle it.

If you achieve victory, the captive will reveal that Vauquelin Brabant is linked to the Prague Army. Prod him further, and he’ll admit that merely disrupting their supply lines won’t suffice; instead, target their ammunition depot and smithy. The smithy is located in the village, and if destroyed, they won’t be able to manufacture weapons and armor. Now, select your team of three for the raid, then consult with Hans. He can be found on the wall to the south.

Raid The Enemy Camp

During the raid, prioritize shielding my comrades while taking out the enemy snipers using my crossbow or any long-range weapon I have at hand. If I find myself without a ranged weapon, I’ll ask Hans for one, but let’s make sure we don’t inadvertently hit our own troops. Continue to apply pressure on their right flank with our assault. Once the enemy snipers are neutralized, our forces will sound the alarm.

From now on, the battle will grow tougher since the heavily armored division called Pavisiers will join the fray. Try to eliminate as many Pavisiers as possible to boost your allies’ chances of survival. Your success in the operation hinges on your ability to draw the enemy’s focus towards you. Soon after, a cutscene will unfold, and Dry Devil will torch the enemy camp.

Speak To Zizka

Heny, wait for Dry Devil to return from the raid and share details about its outcome, including if any of your men were injured or killed. Once you have that information, make your way to Zizka and update him with everything you’ve learned. After this conversation, rest in your bed, and a cutscene will unfold. The 25th day of the siege will follow, marking the end of the “Besieged” quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and initiating the storyline for “The Hunger and Despair.
