At present, Sigismund is attempting to seize control of Bohemia, and the team needs to uncover his strategy. To accomplish this, Henry will feign being a servant pouring wine for the nobles during the meeting. While The King’s Gambit quest initially appears mundane, it becomes more intriguing as you take on the role of Godwin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. To advance in the The King’s Gambit quest, your objective now is to locate Franta Kuldaun in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You can find him interacting with a tailor during daylight hours. How To Serve the Kuttenberg Councillors

After successfully persuading Kuldaun, it’s important that you don the royal attire as a server. Make sure to disarm yourself to appear non-threatening first. Once done, approach the Majordomo who will grant you access to the building. You’ll need to wait for Sigismund’s arrival while serving the nobles in there. There are two types of wine to serve among your duties.

  • Red: Monastery
  • White: Tokaji

Please be aware that serving Adam from Zarzitz, as highlighted in the picture, is not an option. If he requests wine, feel free to decline. But remember, you should also adhere to the guidelines given by the other nobles. In addition to offering him wine, two of these nobles will provide you with specific instructions.

As a gamer, I’ve got a quest! Andreas Plumel, the Bailiff, needs me to retrieve his missing goblet. It seems it’s hidden up the stairs in the chamber and tucked away in a small adjoining room on the table. Now, over to Franz Rosenthal – he wants his gloves, which apparently are stashed in another connected room. Oh, and he also asks for a count of winged creatures on the murals, but I guess it’s okay if I just make up a number since it doesn’t really matter for this task.

How To Get Support in The King’s Gambit Quest

Once Sigismund enters the scene, the game switches control to Godwin, who’s engaged in discussions with Wenceslas’ followers. This part of The King’s Gambit mission involves a good deal of conversation, but your objective eventually becomes securing the backing of three individuals.

I’m right next door, so Haman Alder is the nearest one to me. The tension between Godwin and his old man is palpable, and at some point, you’ll find yourself going toe-to-toe with Christopher. The outcome of the fight doesn’t matter much since he’s promised to aid Godwin regardless, whether I emerge victorious or not.

1. Following your skirmish with Godwin’s younger brother, you’ll find yourself in the courtyard. The next person you should speak to is Botschek from Kunstadt. Climb the stairs and head into the room on your left. You’ll discover him seated at a table, and your task will be to persuade him by proposing that Hans marry Botschek’s niece. Godwin should inform Hanush of Leipa in the courtyard, but he is likely to agree.

All three options convey the same information, but they vary slightly in word choice and sentence structure to maintain naturalness and easy readability.

Anna of Waldstein is as elusive as a shadow in this game because she isn’t marked. To locate her, make your way to the second floor by ascending the stairs in the courtyard. Once there, proceed to the second door on your left and enter. You’ll find her seated near the window. She will instruct Godwin to pilfer some documents from a saddle kept in the stables. There’s a stablehand nearby, so if you’re discovered while attempting this task, you’ll need to pass a skill check.

How To Serve Sigismund in KCD2

Once I’ve wrapped up my business with Godwin in The King’s Gambit, it’s back to controlling Henry. But this time, things are different – I’m serving the enemy King, Sigismund. I’ll have to stay alert and pay careful heed to his every word, as a gamer always does.

Markvard will make three requests for service. In his final request, he’ll instruct you to pour the King red wine, but Sigismund has specified that he prefers white wine. The King will later ask Henry to join him in a toast, and at this point, you should respond with, “To victory!
