Before you can engage with her, Henry is speaking with the lord of Nebakov, so you might accidentally overlook their interaction. Spar With Michael

While Hans Capon converses with the lord of Nebakov, you’ll be joined by Assistant Michael. After a while, he may propose a friendly sparring match; do consider his offer. You don’t have to emerge victorious in this contest, so there’s no pressure to compete fiercely.

To conquer Michael while maintaining your relationship with Klara, it’s definitely possible. First, you must prevail in the duel, and in return, you’ll receive Rowel Spurs as a prize. Post-fight, Michael will propose visiting Klara for healing. Keep in mind that Michael is a formidable opponent, so overcoming him won’t come easily since your attacks may seem insignificant against his strength.

After Michael beats me in our game, he’ll compliment me and instruct me to make my way to Klara’s place so she can nurse my wounds. Her humble abode is located on the left side of the path, so I’ll need to open the gate and march towards it. If Klara isn’t already there, I should wait for her to arrive at her hut before proceeding.

How To Romance Klara In Back In The Saddles Main Quest

When she’s present, engage in conversation and consider initiating friendly banter with her. Over time, she may help you heal emotional wounds, and then invite you to collect some healing herbs. Choose the “I can’t refuse a charming woman’s invitation” option and follow her lead.

No need to fret! If you’ve advanced past the current quest but didn’t manage to develop a romantic relationship with Klara, take heart! You have another chance to win her affection during the “The Finger of God” quest at a later stage in the game.

As you travel along, feel free to share your exciting tales with her, as much as your heart desires. She’ll be captivated, and before long, you’ll arrive at the meadow. Once there, chat with Klara once more, and she will disclose the kind of herbs she is searching for.

Agree for her help and gather the following herbs:

  • Eight Marigold
  • Five Poppies
  • Four Sage

How To Romance Klara In A Finger Of God Main Quest

Once you’ve uncovered the truth about Von Bergow, it becomes necessary for you to get accustomed to Zizka and his troops.

No problem if you didn’t catch Klara’s initial altercation with the guards. There’s still an opportunity for a romantic connection with her! If she’s not around the prison cells, make your way to her cabin and engage in conversation with her instead.

After taking care of the deceased and experimenting with an ominous contraption, a firearm, you may proceed to the fortress where you’ll overhear a young woman disputing with a pair of guards. This is Klara, pleading with them to permit her to tend to the injured.

You’ll encounter guards and they will challenge you with three skill checks. Selecting the initial approach offers a higher probability of success, but if you possess greater Charisma abilities, feel free to try the alternative method as well.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “I wouldn’t advise bullying the guard with option three. Even if your points are sky-high, it could go sour, making the guard turn against you. Once you’ve handled the guards, chat with Klara again, and she’ll express her gratitude. After that, she’ll task you with healing three injured comrades: Mark, Kozliek, and Zwerk.

Heal The Wounded Soldiers

To win Kalra’s affection, it’s essential to show kindness to her soldiers, which requires having the right supplies. Luckily, she has suggested that you can find what you need in her hut. Moreover, there are plenty of useful potions stored in a chest within her hut. So, head over there and grab whatever you require.

In this particular quest, you won’t find an opportunity to revive Kozliek because you might have eliminated him during the initial stages of the gameplay.

Once you’ve gathered all the needed items, please proceed to the specified coordinates and examine the condition of each soldier. To help Mark recover, first, clean his wounds using schnapps, keep him alert by asking him to stay awake, cover his injuries with bandages, and finally abstain from giving him any alcohol.

To mend Kozliek, clean his injuries with schnapps and apply gunpowder to them. Then, replace his bandages and provide him a concoction to alleviate his discomfort. Lastly, for Zwerk, follow the same method of cleaning his wound with Schnapps, dressing it with fresh bandages.

If you can’t locate Zwerk, proceed down the corridor to where Mark is standing, and then move towards his left side. After that, continue straight ahead until you reach the final bed; that’s where you’ll find him.

Next, please use a Sewing Kit to stitch up the wounds on his body and apply a dilute chamomile tea to his ankle.

If you manage to help only one of the injured rather than all, there’s no need for concern – your ability to pursue a romantic relationship with Klara remains unchanged.

Romancing Klara

Once you’ve attended to all three injured men, please make your way to Klara and inform her that you have taken care of their wounds. She will be grateful for your assistance, and subsequently, two additional dialogues will appear. Opt for the one concerning obtaining drinks, and the interaction will culminate with her asking Henry to wait for her in bed.

It would be wise to finish the additional tasks in the quest before pursuing Klara, as you won’t be able to do so otherwise.

It’s important to mention that if you had a romantic relationship with Klara while progressing through the “Back in the Saddle” quest, you will encounter an extra line of dialogue: “‘I don’t think we’re walking today, do you?’“.
