When stepping into a vast realm such as Avowed, where endless wandering and discovery awaits, it’s easy to misjudge the passing of time. Your progress through unexplored territories might be delayed solely due to the main plotline, since advancing further into the game depends on its continuation.
During your adventure, instead of just stumbling upon assorted chests, you might want to seek out particular treasures by using treasure maps that you can discover at different spots. One example is the Earthy Aegis map, and I’ll guide you on how to conquer it.
Earthy Aegis Chest Location
Among the treasure maps scattered throughout the Emerald Stairs region of Avowed, I’d say Earthy Aegis is the most challenging to unravel due to its lack of distinct landmarks. Unlike other maps, it merely indicates a distant godless ruin tower that contains the desired chest. This elusive tower can be found in the western part, not far from Tama’s Cabin.
Initially, move to the designated beacon situated beneath the cabin. Then, proceed along the path that leads up from the northwest side. Once you reach the top, locate the tower on your map, it will be positioned to the left of the beacon. This specific cabin contains a chest, but access is restricted. To open it, find a tree branch and navigate it around the blockage.
To get to the cliff, go from the right side of the cabin. Along the way, you’ll spot a branch wrapping around it. Follow this branch all the way until you come across a hole in the cabin where you can peek inside and see the chest. On the right side of this hole, there’s a small switch that you can press. This will trigger the opening of a door on the opposite side.
After the door is unlocked, feel free to stroll back towards the tree branch, then step inside the cabin to collect your prize.
The sarcophagus holds an exceptional protective shield named the “Nature’s Guardian.” This unique artifact retaliates against adversaries by dishing out damage whenever it blocks an enemy’s assault, and occasionally dispels the harmful ‘poisoned’ status from the wielder.
