As expected, it’s confirmed that the Black Panther 3 release will follow the new Avengers movies.
At the red-carpet premiere of “Captain America: Brave New World,” producer Nate Moore addressed inquiries concerning the potential third installment of “Black Panther.
What did Nate Moore say about the Black Panther 3 release?
Variety caught up with Moore and questioned, “When are we going to see that next Black Panther?”
Moore said, “We’ve had preliminary discussions with Coogler. He’s wrapping up ‘Sinners’, a film I’m sure will be fantastic, and then we’ll dive into it afterwards. It won’t be before the ‘Avengers’. That’s our next major project. Of course, this year we have ‘Thunderbolts’ and ‘Fantastic Four’, leading up to ‘The Avengers’, but we’ll return to Wakanda as soon as possible.

Marvel has untitled film releases set for 2028
It appears that the films “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars” are slated for release in 2026 and 2027 respectively, suggesting, as pointed out by Moore, that we might not see “Black Panther 3” until at least 2028.
Since Marvel has scheduled three releases for unnamed movies, it’s plausible that one of these could be for Black Panther 3, considering the X-Men film is also in the works.
What are Marvel’s 2028 release dates?
The release dates for the three untitled Marvel movies in 2028 are:
- February 18, 2028
- May 5, 2028
- November, 10, 2028
Will Marvel recast T’Challa?
There’s a lot of discussion going around about whether Marvel might replace T’Challa with another actor following Chadwick Boseman’s passing. Many fans appear to believe that it’s what Marvel should do, as this is reportedly what Chadwick himself would have preferred, according to his brother.
However, Moore recently shot down rumors surrounding Marvel is recasting T’Challa.
In a recent interview, he clarified that the rumors aren’t based on fact. While there have been no substantial creative discussions with Ryan Coogler as of now, since he’s currently working on his film ‘Sinners’, which is slated for release this year, there haven’t been any official plans set yet regarding their collaboration. Therefore, anything you may have read online about their project should be taken with a grain of salt, given that they haven’t even begun work on it.
