Looking forward to it: The much-awaited fourth season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan will debut on March 7, with fresh episodes coming out every Friday on Starz and its streaming services. Excited fans can catch a sneak peek of what’s to come by watching the recently unveiled trailer, which hints at gripping drama, power games, and a quest for revenge.
In the most recent season, Kana Stark, portrayed by Mekai Curtis, along with his mother Raquel Thomas (performed by Patina Miller), find themselves navigating through the risky landscape of drug trafficking businesses. Their odyssey is filled with hazardous partnerships and deceptions, as they work tirelessly to preserve their dominion over their operation.
The trailer further introduces important figures such as Snaps (Wendell Pierce), Pop (Erika Woods), Stefano Marchetti (Tony Danza), and Unique (Joey Bada$$). Throughout the season, the character of Unique plays a dominant role, driven by his desire for retribution and potentially endangering the Thomas family due to being a formidable threat.
The original cast members Malcolm Mays (Lou), London Brown (Marvin), and Hailey Kilgore (Jukebox) are back for this season. We’ve also got some new additions to the cast this time around, bringing in fresh elements to the narrative. Pardison Fontaine is making his debut in the Power Universe as B-Rilla, while Sibongile Mlambo will be playing Imani Okoye. Chris Redd, a comedian and actor, steps into the role of Early Tyler, and Paul Ben-Victor takes on Phil Russo.
If you’re interested in experiencing or revisiting the storyline, you can stream season one of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” for free on the Starz app and certain on-demand services until February 28th.
The fourth season is led by both showrunner and executive producer Sascha Penn. The Power Universe is steered by its main executive producers which include Courtney A. Kemp (through End of Episode), Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (via G-Unit Film & Television), and Mark Canton (Canton Entertainment). Chris Selak and Kevin Fox also serve as executive producers, while Lionsgate Television handles production.
