‘A Knight’s War’ Medieval Horror Releases Three New Clips, Available on VOD and in Select Theaters

As a cinephile, I can’t help but share my excitement about the latest release from Epic Pictures’ horror label DREAD – “A Knight’s War.” This film takes the classic medieval setting and blends it with spine-tingling horror elements for a truly unique cinematic experience. In this gripping tale, I play the role of Bhodie, a knight with a murky past, who is tasked with embarking on a perilous journey to retrieve the corrupted soul of a chosen one. The stakes are high, and I must navigate treacherous landscapes, face unspeakable horrors, and confront my own demons along the way. “A Knight’s War” promises to be an adrenaline-pumping ride that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats!

On this voyage, he penetrates a harsh, relentless world filled with witches, demons, and horrifying adversaries. However, as events progress, Bhodie discovers that retrieving the chosen one might lead to catastrophe for mankind.

The movie debuted in select cinemas on February 7th, and can now be watched on demand from your home. In Canada, the film “A Knight’s War” is scheduled for both a theatrical release and home video distribution in spring 2025, courtesy of Black Fawn Distribution who secured the Canadian rights.

Matt Ninaber expressed his enthusiasm for the movie, stating, ‘This production holds a special place in my heart. You can truly see the passion and imagination that went into making it.’

Previously, the Ninaber siblings, Matt and Jeremy, collaborated on projects, with Matt taking up the director’s role and Jeremy appearing as the lead actor. Notably, Matt, who gained recognition from his work in Psycho Goreman, filmed some scenes for the project right in his backyard. All sets were meticulously constructed by hand, which contributed to the movie’s authentic, rugged ambiance.

Funded jointly by Epic Pictures within their DREAD Originals line-up, “A Knight’s War” seamlessly combines horror elements with a medieval setting, offering an ominous exploration into a treacherous underworld. Patrick Ewald, the CEO of Epic Pictures, highly commended the film, describing it as an ‘exciting’ acquisition for their collection and expressing satisfaction in collaborating with Matt Ninaber once more.

In the lineup for this movie are Jeremy Ninaber, Matt Ninaber, and Kristen Kaster, who have collaborated before in the film “Death Valley.” Given its blend of horror and epic narrative, “A Knight’s War” is a highly recommended watch for fans enthusiastic about both genres.
