In the year 2019, a fraudster who had previously been convicted stood trial for 12 offenses, among which were attempts at first-degree grand theft. She deceived several high-society individuals by pretending to be a wealthy inheritress. Ultimately, she was given a 12-year prison sentence in the state penitentiary. Additionally, she was required to pay a significant fine of $24,000 and approximately $199,000 in compensation to make up for her wrongdoings.

By the report from Bloomberg, she got released from an ICE detention center in October 2022. As per the Daily Mail, it was mandated that she stay under house arrest in New York City’s East Village until February 2024.

After getting accepted for Dancing With the Stars Season 33, she received an ankle bracelet as part of a supervision requirement by the authorities to monitor her location. Delvey has since made this court-ordered accessory a unique part of her personal style.
