Anna Delvey Struts the New York Fashion Week Runway With Unusual Accessory Amid House Arrest; SEE Here

Anna Delvey boldly expressed her style by donning her ankle bracelet on the catwalk at the fashion show! On February 9, she was spotted walking confidently down the New York Fashion Week runway in a video posted on X (previously Twitter), as she opened the Elena Velez show.

In a striking ensemble, Delvey donned a brown leather pencil skirt dress by the label, adorned with ruffled shoulder accents. She complemented this outfit with an elegant updo hairstyle and nude heels. Yet, it was her ankle bracelet that sparked intrigue among onlookers.

In the year 2019, a fraudster who had previously been convicted stood trial for 12 offenses, among which were attempts at first-degree grand theft. She deceived several high-society individuals by pretending to be a wealthy inheritress. Ultimately, she was given a 12-year prison sentence in the state penitentiary. Additionally, she was required to pay a significant fine of $24,000 and approximately $199,000 in compensation to make up for her wrongdoings.

By the report from Bloomberg, she got released from an ICE detention center in October 2022. As per the Daily Mail, it was mandated that she stay under house arrest in New York City’s East Village until February 2024.

After getting accepted for Dancing With the Stars Season 33, she received an ankle bracelet as part of a supervision requirement by the authorities to monitor her location. Delvey has since made this court-ordered accessory a unique part of her personal style.

Delvey, recognized in popular culture due to Netflix’s true-crime miniseries Inventing Anna, shared with the publication that she has been attempting to use a “more” discreet ankle monitoring device.

She additionally criticized the media’s selection of terminology when discussing the accessory, using phrases like “flaunting” or “wearing,” stating that it is essentially a requirement rather than a choice. “I don’t cling to it in any way,” she stated. “It’s just something I can’t avoid.
