Hunter Schafer as an X-Men?

Based on reports, trans actress Hunter Schafer, famously known for her role in HBO’s Euphoria, is said to be negotiating a part in Marvel Studio’s X-Men remake. Given that Mystique possesses the ability to change shapes, it appears they are considering Schafer for this character due to her unique skills as an actor.

In a twist of storytelling, Marvel Comics revised Nightcrawler’s origin to imply that he has two mothers: Mystique and Destiny. This implication hints at an extraordinary ability for Mystique, enabling her to alter her form even at the atomic level, which allows her to transform into a male and produce sperm.

Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn previously played Mystique in the Fox X-Men movies.

Elliot Page had talks with Marvel?

Regarding Elliot Page, there’s no confirmed role yet, but it’s been mentioned that Page has had discussions with Marvel regarding a possible future collaboration on a project.

Ellen Page, who was famously known for portraying Kitty Pryde in “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “Days of Future Past,” may not return to that role in the future.
