AMC Increases A-List Price By $3/Month, But Also Increases Weekly Movies From 3 to 4

We’ve grown accustomed to regular increases in streaming costs, but now, our monthly expense for watching movies at the theater is also rising, and it’s not something we’re happy about. If you’ve been enjoying the benefits of AMC Stubs A-List membership, be prepared to pay an additional $3 per month as the cost of this service will soon increase. We can’t help but feel frustrated by the continuous rise in prices.

The word price increases as it relates to Netflix, AMC, or the cost of eggs now gives us hives.

How Much Will AMC A-List Cost After the Price Increase?

Despite any difficulties, let me share some news about the upcoming price adjustments for AMC’s A-List. Starting from May 7th, the monthly cost of AMC’s A-List will rise to $27.99 in all U.S. cinemas or $25.99 everywhere except New York and California. Earlier, this plan was priced at $24.95 per month for all AMC theaters and $22.95 outside of California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. This significant increase in monthly charges for AMC’s A-List might seem quite excessive to many. In fact, if a streaming service were to hike their prices by this much, we would find it hard to accept.

AMC A-List Will Offer One Additional Weekly Movie In Addition to the Price Hike

AMC is planning to boost the number of movies A-List members can watch weekly, while also raising the subscription cost. Starting from the price hike, A-List members will be able to watch four films each week instead of three. This change might significantly affect some users, but watching four movies a week could be quite a feat for most. Furthermore, AMC has lowered the age requirement for A-List subscriptions, allowing individuals as young as 13 to sign up. The best benefit of A-List membership remains unchanged: members can attend IMAX and Dolby films without additional charges. If this perk were ever discontinued, there would certainly be problems.
