It was uncertain if Armor Wars would come to fruition, sparking whispers that the movie might not proceed. However, recent news reveals that Marvel producer Nate Moore has departed from the project.
It’s been revealed that Nate Moore has decided to leave Marvel Studios, however, he plans to stay on board for the production of “Black Panther” 3, likely because of a remaining obligation in his contract.
Additionally, Moore was responsible for the creation of ‘Eternals’, a film that didn’t perform well in the box office. Furthermore, there are concerns about ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, as it has reportedly undergone at least four reshoots, causing its budget to exceed $300 million.

In a chat with Collider, Nate Moore disclosed that he’s no longer involved in the project titled Armor Wars, regarding Brave New World.
To tell you the truth, that project isn’t mine, but I can assure you that Marvel Studios is focused on delivering top-notch content. So we had to postpone some projects currently in development to ensure the quality of what we eventually release.”
“I don’t work on that specific project, but Marvel is committed to making everything they produce great. This means they might need to slow down or delay certain projects to guarantee high-quality output.

The most recent rumors actually sound like Armor Wars has been canceled.
It’s reported that the script is being revised due to the negative response towards “Secret Invasion,” which turned out to be another costly and unsuccessful project. This series unexpectedly revealed that Don Cheadle’s character, James Rhodes, has been a Skrull since “Captain America: Civil War.” This means that the character portrayed as Rhodey in “Infinity War,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was actually a Skrull, and he wasn’t present when Tony Stark, his best friend, passed away.
