Preparations are in full swing at Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the launch of one of their most eagerly awaited series, ‘Daredevil: Reborn,’ slated to debut on March 4, 2025. The cast includes Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, with Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, a notorious crime lord vying for the mayoral seat, and Jon Bernthal making a comeback as the Punisher, a menacing vigilante.
Additionally, significant characters include Heather Glenn, portrayed by Margarita Levieva, who becomes Murdock’s love interest; Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll, his trusted friend; Foggy Nelson, enacted by Elden Henson, his law partner; and a few fresh faces joining the series as well.
Since the upcoming series is expected to reintroduce many significant characters from the Netflix show, there’s been speculation among fans about whether the character Elektra might also make an appearance.
In the initial Netflix series, it’s assumed that Elektra perished following Midland Circle’s demolition. However, since no body was found and given her history of resurrection, there’s a strong possibility she could reappear. Élodie Yung hinted at this return by expressing interest and stating that fans frequently inquire about it. She also mentioned that portraying Elektra was an enjoyable experience for her.
It’s been announced that ‘Born Again’ has secured a second season before its initial debut, and there’s buzz that Elektra might join the cast for this upcoming season, according to Daniel Richtman, an influential insider within the industry.
According to the report by Richtman, they’re planning to bring on board a woman in her 40s, who is of Greek ancestry, for a recurring role in Season 2. The contract for this character will last for a period of one year.
Bear in mind that, for now, this is merely speculation since it hasn’t been officially verified. However, considering that Cox mentioned the second season’s filming would begin by March, the timing of this rumor seems plausible.
