Ever since her arrival in Earth-616, Gwen Stacy has been encountering one hurdle after another. Phillips has had the idea for this crossover in mind for some time now. As she put it, “I’ve always wanted Gwen to have a storyline involving Loki, so this arc is something I’ve been preparing for.” By sending her to space, we can delve into different aspects of her character, particularly as her optimism contrasts with Loki’s pessimistic view of life.
In my humble opinion, as I embark on a cosmic adventure with Villanelli at the helm, be prepared for an extraordinary fusion of science fiction, suspenseful peril, and intensely emotional repercussions for our heroine, Gwen.
Additionally, here’s an exciting development: In issue #13 of Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider, we get a glimpse of something even more astonishing – the entry of Jean Grey, also known as Phoenix, into the fray! Phillips, who is also the writer for Jean Grey, will be bringing these powerful characters together in a crossover that promises to leave a lasting impact.
