However, it appears his issues are solely focused on the Dance of the Dragons storyline. On the contrary, he’s thrilled with HBO’s upcoming “Game of Thrones” spinoff series, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms“. Following a viewing of the first season, Martin penned a positive post on his blog, expressing his satisfaction with this adaptation of his cherished characters.

George R.R. Martin announced that the initial six-episode season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been completed, and he expressed genuine delight with what he witnessed. In a post on “Not a Blog” titled “Dunk, Egg, Some Random Thoughts,” he applauded the show’s creators and actors for successfully adapting his first Dunk and Egg novella, The Hedge Knight, into reality.
