Park & Recreation is a cherished series by many viewers, making them eager to re-watch it repeatedly. However, it seems that one of its stars, Adam Scott, has personal motives for not revisiting the show.
On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Severence mentioned that it’s been quite some time since he last watched an episode of the previously mentioned series.
The actor explained that he hasn’t watched it because it brings him feelings of sadness. Scott further noted, “This is because I long for them and for all the other actors. Despite staying connected, I still yearn for the time we spent making it together.
As a devoted admirer, I shared with the host my personal sentiments, expressing that I have savored every moment of the last seven years for me, but five years if we’re talking about my own involvement. Working alongside those remarkable individuals each day has been an absolute joy. Scott elaborated on the immense pleasure we derived from our work, as we were not just creating something; we were crafting a production that resonated deeply with our audience and left an indelible mark on us as well.
Discussing a possible revival of the beloved sitcom, Scott expressed doubt about what more could be included since the original series concluded and moved us well into the future. However, he clarified that ultimately, the decision wasn’t entirely in his hands.
The NBC show, Parks & Recreation, boasted an impressive ensemble apart from Scott, consisting of Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones, Jim O’Heir, Rob Lowe, Chris Pratt, and numerous others. This popular series ran from 2009 to 2015.
