As per Comicbook reports, The Simpsons is set to return this coming winter, with additional information about it trickling out gradually. Last autumn, the long-standing animated series aired its Season 36, marking a significant milestone as it celebrated its 35th anniversary on air.
The initial portion of the program concluded by the end of last year, but fresh episodes will air during the winter season and continue into this year.
Following a brief hiatus, fresh installments of The Simpsons are set to resume, kicking off season 36. The rest of this season will be unveiled in late March. Interestingly, the latest season is being referred to as a “debut” for season 36 rather than a midseason premiere.
Hints for the upcoming season suggest we’ll see a fresh tale featuring Homer and Flanders, along with the intriguing addition of some well-known personalities lending their voices to unexpected characters.
If you’re eager to know, The Simpsons are set to make their comeback on FOX! Starting from March 30, catch them every Sunday as they air fresh episodes. The new season kicks off with episode 12 of Season 36.
As of now, the episode titles remain undisclosed, but according to Deadline, future episodes are expected to include Jane Kaczmarek and Rachel Bloom, both lending their voices as special guests.
According to the comic book, the plot will unfold with Bart venturing into the realm of famous disc jockeying, while Homer ultimately crosses a line with Flanders.
