Cyrus openly shared her lifelong affection for Anderson. Since she was a kid, she frequently voiced her aspiration to many listeners, desiring to emulate Anderson, even down to the tattoos and distinctive blonde hairstyle. She also talked about how she appreciated Anderson’s transformation, expressing that personal development often involves unexpected twists and turns along life’s journey.
The artist known as The Flowers contemplated, “I’ve experienced numerous shifts, growths, and perhaps some unexpected turns in my journey. Yet, it seems these experiences always lead me to the next phase of my existence, making me stronger, making me more authentic.
Cyrus strongly emphasized the significance of staying true to herself, even amid numerous obstacles. Anderson, aged 57, agreed, sharing that she too sought to distance herself from her past, but eventually understood the need to keep those memories close. She underlined that no one would make her feel ashamed of her identity, for every aspect of her life has contributed to who she is today.
Cyrus concurred, admitting that certain past style choices were unfortunate, yet she’d never alter any of the life experiences she had.
She mentioned that, as she reflects on her past, she feels a sense of pride about each instance where she made a mistake, had doubts, or struggled to comprehend something. Now, she cherishes every phase of her life.
The Hannah Montana star said she wouldn’t alter anything from the past, but maybe a few wardrobe choices.
