New ALIEN: EARTH Teaser Brings the Xenomorphs to Our Backyard

This summer, mark your calendars for the groundbreaking television series inspired by the “Alien” universe, titled “Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth.” Airing on FX and Hulu, this upcoming show promises to unleash a wave of terror. Unlike previous installments where Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley encountered Xenomorphs, “Alien: Earth” is set 70 years into the future. The freshly released teaser hints at the impending horrors that will invade our planet before this encounter on LV-426. If you’re eager to catch a glimpse of the new trailer and learn more about “Alien: Earth,” scroll down below for the latest updates!

In the sci-fi horror series Alien: Earth, an unidentified spaceship unexpectedly collides on our planet. A youthful woman and a motley crew of tactical soldiers, in pursuit of survivors amidst the debris, stumble upon horrifying, predatory creatures that surpass their darkest fears. As this terrifying life form is unleashed, the search party must battle for their lives. The decisions they make regarding this discovery could drastically alter Earth as it currently stands.

In the latest teaser, you’ll experience a first-person view from the Xenomorph, echoing the spine-chilling sounds of the 1979 Alien trailer by Ridley Scott. As this terrifying creature traverses a spacecraft that resembles the Nostromo, you hear the computer voice alerting about a containment leak. The trailer then reveals that the Xenomorph is aboard a spaceship plummeting towards Earth, featuring a design reminiscent of the escape pod from the original Alien. However, it’s important to note that this occurs well before the events depicted in the first film, suggesting it’s another spacecraft belonging to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

The primary mystery that lingers is surrounding the arrival of Xenomorphs in Alien: Earth. Given our planet’s abundance of life, one wonders how these creatures managed to arrive unnoticed and didn’t immediately seize control? Additionally, what was the means of their arrival, and why weren’t they discovered until we crossed paths with them once more in space? Although the upcoming series may disregard Ridley Scott’s Prometheus origins, it should align with the original films in terms of continuity. However, the series will delve deeper into the genesis of artificial life, similar to characters like Ash and Bishop from the originals. Yet, we anticipate that the new series won’t skimp on chest-bursting fear, as expected.

Alien: Earth debuts this summer on FX and Hulu.
