Duck Dynasty Makes a Comeback, But THIS Star Will Miss the Revival for Heartbreaking Reason

Enthusiasts of Duck Dynasty got some thrilling updates recently! It turns out that A&E has given the go-ahead for the much-loved show to make a comeback. After a hiatus of eight years, Duck Dynasty: The Rebirth is now officially in production.

In the forthcoming series, we’ll get a glimpse into the lives of Willie and Korie Robertson, along with their kids and grandkids, as they reveal even more about their life experiences in Louisiana.

Based on reports from TVLine, it’s confirmed that a comeback of two seasons has been arranged, featuring a total of 20 episodes. This upcoming series is scheduled to debut this coming summer, promising to rekindle the warm-hearted family-oriented humor and charm that made the initial show a beloved favorite among viewers.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but share some exciting news – familiar faces from the Duck Dynasty clan will be back for the show’s revival! However, our beloved patriarch, Phil Robertson, won’t be joining us this time around. The reason being, he’s currently battling Alzheimer’s and other health hurdles in his personal life, which makes it difficult for him to participate right now. I truly hope for his swift recovery and a return to our screens soon!

In the previous year, it was Jase Robertson who disclosed information regarding his father’s health status on the “Unashamed with the Robertson Family” podcast.

As a die-hard admirer, I’ve been grappling with understanding his health issues. Apparently, it seems that he’s battling some complex blood disorder, which is causing a myriad of complications, as the doctors have shared with me. Sadly, I’ve noticed over time that his condition has only grown more severe.

It appears that Philip’s Alzheimer’s is currently in its early stages, but his health issues have significantly limited his ability to fully engage. As Jase explained, “He often cries out in pain when moving around and his memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be.” Still, Phil expresses a strong desire to stay connected with the family podcast.

Originally debuting on television in 2012, Duck Dynasty quickly gained popularity and transformed into a cultural sensation. It continued to thrive for an impressive 11 seasons before concluding in 2017. Now, the Robertson family is coming back home to A&E as part of their revival.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Willie and Korie expressed their gratitude, stating, “Returning to A&E is akin to returning home. We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey as our family has evolved. We’re eager to start filming again, capturing both our new adventures and possibly some mishaps.
