Palworld’s Publishing Leap Shakes Up Indie Game Development

In a new venture, the team behind the popular game Palworld, known as Pocketpair, has stepped into the publishing realm to aid independent game developers. With their fresh endeavor, Pocketpair Publishing, they aim to offer both financial support and creative liberty to these talented individuals.

He confessed with a chuckle, “I must have underestimated just how much attention this would garner.

Bucky underscored that their objective is to empower developers to retain artistic autonomy. In other words, ‘We’re providing developers with the financial liberty to create games as they wish, thereby shielding them from the constraints of rigid rule-makers and intimidating figures.’

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that my first venture under Pocketpair Publishing is a collaboration with Abubakar Salim’s Surgent Studios, renowned for their 2024 game Tales of Kenzera: ZAU. Working together on this project signals even more exhilarating ventures in our future!
