Vin Diesel Promises to Film ‘Fast X: Part 2’ Final Scenes in Los Angeles as Tribute

Vin Diesel recently revealed that the final scenes for Fast X: Part 2 will be shot in Los Angeles, a choice that symbolizes a return to the city where the franchise initially took off 25 years ago. On social media, Diesel explained this decision was made to bolster Los Angeles’ economy, which has been adversely affected by the devastating wildfires that caused extensive destruction.

Jordana Brewster, a fellow star of Diesel’s in the film series, encouraged him to persuade Universal Studios to shift the filming location to Los Angeles. According to Diesel, Brewster stressed that the city is particularly in need of this now. At this point, Universal has yet to issue a statement regarding the matter.

Initially, the first “Fast and Furious” film delved into the street racing scene of Los Angeles. However, as time passed, the franchise broadened its horizons to capture scenes from cities such as Tokyo, Rio, London, and Havana. Given that wildfires are still wreaking havoc in Los Angeles, deciding to return feels exceptionally significant.
