According to reports, Shawn Levy’s upcoming Star Wars film might see Ryan Gosling taking on a starring role.
As a film enthusiast, I’m excited to share that according to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming movie by director Levy is not tied to the legendary Skywalker Saga. Instead, this film is designed as a self-contained narrative, offering a unique and standalone cinematic experience.
As a follower, I’m just as curious as you about when Levy’s Star Wars movie will take place. Unfortunately, at this moment, there’s no fixed release date announced for the film.
Additionally, THR reports that if the agreement is finalized, Levy’s Star Wars film will be the upcoming Star Wars production after “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, as per Deadline. It is hoped that the movie commences production this autumn. For the past two years, Levy has been working with writer Jonathan Trooper on the film’s development.
