At President Donald Trump’s Inaugural Ball on January 20th, Billy Ray Cyrus encountered some technical difficulties during his performance that left him perplexed, yet he remains unrepentant about the experience. Despite these challenges, Cyrus found himself on stage without his band, trying to deliver a concert amidst sound issues.
The Grammy-winning artist made news and trended on social media due to a small mistake during his performance. Yet, speaking to People magazine, Cyrus revealed he wouldn’t have wanted to pass up the chance and had a blast at the event.
He said to the media outlet that it didn’t matter if his microphone, guitar, and speakers were functioning or not, he wouldn’t have wanted to miss the opportunity to participate in this event. The musician further explained that President Trump had invited him, which made the experience particularly significant for him.
He enjoyed himself tremendously at the Liberty Ball last night,” the music producer stated. Over the years in his career, he’s mastered the art of adapting to any situation – even if the equipment malfunctions. “I was there for the crowd, and we had a fantastic time. As the video plays, he seems to be playing his guitar and singing the song, although his voice wasn’t clearly audible in the performance.
If you give me support, I’ll persist, he stated. However, when he started to perform the tune, it was inaudible once more. Cyrus inquired if his guitar was still functioning and addressed those who interrupted him. He then made a remark that has since gone viral at his concerts.
