As a dedicated fan, I’ve been absolutely hooked on Dragon Ball: Sparking ever since its debut in October 2024! Now, the anticipation is at an all-time high as we eagerly await the arrival of our first downloadable content (DLC) pack. This exciting update will feature characters straight from the 2022 film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Among the thrilling additions are none other than Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo – two forms that I’ve been longing to witness in action!
Beyond just adding content, the DLC also brings in an impressive 11 new characters, one of which is Cell Max, greatly expanding our playable roster. Alongside these characters, we receive a unique costume and three brand-new Custom Battles. These battles appear to reenact famous scenes, like Super Hero Gohan clashing with Goku, a confrontation between Cell Max, and the encounters of Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 with Dr. Gero’s Androids.
Save the date! The new DLC is due for launch on January 23, 2025. If you’re an Early Access member, enjoy your sneak peek from January 20, 2025 – let’s embark on fresh journeys together in no time!
Apart from introducing character enhancements, we’re also debuting an exciting new gameplay mode: “Epic Warrior Duel.” In this mode, players will face off against tough adversaries who boast extraordinary power. The initial challenge pits us against Broly, guaranteeing thrilling fights to come!
In the latest DLC, several fan favorites like grown-up Pan, older Goten and Trunks, and their fusion Fat Buu (Gotenks) are missing from the lineup. It remains to be seen whether new versions of Gohan and Piccolo will be separate characters or transformations of existing ones. Nonetheless, the forthcoming content promises to enhance our gaming experience by introducing new obstacles and broadening the world we’re fond of.
