In the debut of Baban Baban Ban Vampire, viewers were introduced to Ranmaru Mori, a 450-year-old vampire who works at Koi Bathhouse as a bathhouse attendant, disguising himself as a human during the day. At night, he secretly hunts criminals, maintaining a dual identity within society.
For a decade, Ranmaru has covertly labored at the establishment, biding his time for the moment when Rihito Tatsuno, the proprietor’s son, turns 18 and Ranmaru could finally sample his untainted blood. But alas, Rihito becomes smitten with Aoi Shinozuka, putting Ranmaru’s scheme at risk. In an effort to manipulate the situation, Ranmaru approaches Aoi, but she refuses to admit any romantic feelings, making Ranmaru’s designs more convoluted.
In Episode 2 of “Baban Baban Ban Vampire,” Ranmaru tries to disrupt Rihito’s romance unknowingly, which instead stirs Rihito’s emotions, leaving him in a state of confusion. On the other hand, Aoi experiences curiosity upon her initial meeting with a real vampire.
On the following day, Rihito is expected to shield Aoi from thugs even though he’s hurt. Later that night, when Ranmaru is on duty at the bathhouse, Aoi suddenly shows up in the ladies’ bath, causing Ranmaru to be taken aback.
On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:30 PM Japan Standard Time (JST), Episode 2 of “Baban Baban Ban Vampire” titled ‘The Unpleasant Vampire’ will be aired in Japan, as announced on the official website. For international viewers, the English-subtitled version will be available at the corresponding times in their respective time zones.
The episode will air on the nationwide “IMAnimation” network of TV Asahi, which encompasses BS Asahi and CS TV Asahi Channel 1. Notably, foreign audiences can stream Baban Baban Ban Vampire Episode 2 on Netflix shortly following its Japanese premiere.
