Horror Unleashed: ‘Inhabitants’ Trailer Brings Haunting Chills This Valentine’s Day

‘Inhabitants’ is a horror film crafted by Matt McClung (creator of ‘The Mad Whale’). The ensemble features Todd Robert Anderson (‘You’re the Worst’), Ana Auther (‘Goats’), Kevin Scott Allen (‘American Primeval’), and Kevin Nealon (‘Saturday Night Live’). Unlike conventional Valentine’s Day films, ‘Inhabitants’ promises an unsettling atmosphere. This spine-chilling movie will be accessible for digital streaming and on-demand viewing starting February 14th.

Recently, the trailer for the movie was released and you can check it out below:

The film traces the journey of Olivia and her partner, Francis, who relocate to California against the wishes of their families. Francis’s mother, Lillian, a devout Catholic with firm beliefs, vigorously objects to their choice and expresses her displeasure by sending them threatening postcards with religious themes.

After an unexpected mishap, Francis suffers an injury that alters his mental and physical well-being significantly. This change leads to distressing episodes such as nightmares, conversations with unseen entities, and disquieting sleepwalking behavior. Olivia grows apprehensive and starts questioning whether Francis is concealing something from her.

Delving further, Olivia gradually unearths an alarming revelation: the spectral presence tormenting them is none other than the former youth minister of Francis, who had been haunting them all this time due to his anger over their living situation. This vengeful spirit, enraged by what it perceives as their wrongdoings, has come back to inflict retribution.

From what we’ve seen in the preview, it seems the film will be filled with suspense and disquiet, gradually unveiling hidden truths at its own pace.
