A four-part documentary called “Lockerbie: The Bombing of Pan Am 103″ is about to be released by CNN Originals. This series delves into the perplexing incident of the bombing that occurred on Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, which tragically claimed the lives of 270 people, among them 190 Americans.
The show is set to debut with two episodes on Sunday, February 16th at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific Time, and the last two episodes will be shown the following week, specifically on February 23rd, also at the same time. It’s brought to you by Mindhouse Productions, along with Sky Studios and CNN Original Series.
The documentary includes interviews with Lockerbie residents and relatives of the victims, providing insights into the deep emotional impact that followed the tragedy. It also delves deeper into multiple theories surrounding the perpetrators of the bombing, revealing that while there was a conviction in 2000, numerous questions are still left unresolved.

The bombing remains deeply affecting for many, particularly the relatives who suffered personal losses. This incident was a profound tragedy that garnered global interest when it occurred.
The Peacock series titled “Lockerbie: A Quest for Truth” has generated even greater intrigue in its narrative, as it delves back into the past event. Starting from February 16, CNN’s documentary will be streamable on their website and mobile apps, with pay TV subscribers granted on-demand access a day later.
