Kate Middleton expresses gratitude to everyone who supported her throughout her challenging cancer ordeal. Over the past year, the Duchess of Cambridge faced a particularly difficult time due to the prolonged treatment of the illness, which lasted close to nine months. During this period, she took a step back from her royal duties and focused on her health and family.
On the official account of The Prince and Duke of Wales, shared a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has been by their side, offering silent support and companionship.
In her tweet, the Duchess of Cornwall expressed gratitude by saying, “I wanted to take this moment to thank The Royal Marsden for taking such good care of me throughout the past year.” She also acknowledged, “My sincere thanks go out to everyone who has been walking quietly by William and me, providing support as we’ve faced various challenges together.
She contemplated on her healing process, acknowledging that she’s currently in “remission” and committed to continuing her recovery. Princess Kate further emphasized this, saying, “I feel a sense of relief being in remission, and I am determined to continue my recovery.
She further mentioned, “Just as those who have gone through a cancer diagnosis can attest, adapting to a new routine takes time. Nevertheless, I am eagerly anticipating a rewarding year ahead. There are many exciting things to look forward to. A big thank you to all of you for your unwavering support.” (C)
