Nine Inch Nails Confirm 2025 World Tour; Delay Full Announcement Due to LA Wildfires

9 Inch Nails (NIN) has formally declared their intention for a global tour this year, effectively quelling speculations stirred up by recent leaks.

Today (Jan 14), the renowned industrial rock group announced the news on their social media platforms. Yet, due to the persistent wildfires in Los Angeles, they have chosen to postpone unveiling comprehensive details about it at this time.

According to the announcement made by NIN, they have confirmed that there has been a leak of certain dates and information regarding their world tour. They further stated that they will indeed be going on tour and will share additional details about it shortly.

They said, ‘We’re observing the catastrophic situation taking place in California right now. In light of this, we’ve decided to postpone our announcement as people address the urgent matters at hand.’

On January 13th, rumors about a possible tour started circulating among fans, as screenshots of Facebook events and Ticketmaster listings related to Nine Inch Nails emerged on their subreddit.

A supporter’s post with the title “It seems things are underway!” pointed out a planned event on September 10 in Tampa, FL, hinting at the speculated ‘Peel It Back World Tour.’

The leaked information indicates potential performances in significant American cities such as Brooklyn, Atlanta, Raleigh, Philadelphia, and Cleveland, along with tour stops in Manchester and London in the United Kingdom, and a concert in Toronto, Canada.

Although there have been rumors about it, Nine Inch Nails hasn’t publicly announced any specific dates or venues yet. However, some speculation points towards a ticket sale starting on Friday, January 17th, as suggested by Ticketmaster listings.

It seems the potential title for an upcoming tour, “Peel It Back,” could be hinting at the band’s 1994 song “March of the Pigs.” This has sparked anticipation that the tour may commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Downward Spiral, a significant album by Nine Inch Nails which was released in 1994.

In 2022, NIN embarked on a tour that took them to multiple cities in both the United States and the United Kingdom. This tour followed their extensive The Trilogy Tour which took place between 2017 and 2018, covering North America, Europe, and Asia with a total of 69 shows.
