When Will Jimmy Kimmel Live Begin Its Taping After Being Suspended Amid L.A. Wildfires? Here’s What We Know

Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, is planning to restart filming following a week-long hiatus due to the Los Angeles wildfires. The show had been halted since January 8th, when the fires spread and destroyed numerous properties in their path.

Based on what the show producers have shared, filming for new episodes is expected to start on January 13. Unfortunately, areas like Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena were impacted by fires, leading to a pause in outdoor entertainment activities. This was necessary to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the production.

Besides Jimmy Kimmel Live, other shows temporarily halted production are After Midnight and The Price is Right. These shows, hosted by Taylor Tomlinson and Drew Carey, will stay on hold until the situation calms down.

As the wildfires continue to spread rapidly, evacuation efforts are underway. These blazes started in the city on Tuesday when strong winds picked up.

In the vicinity of Los Angeles County, officials and organizations have issued warnings due to the prediction that the fires will expand to other parts of the United States as well.

Additionally, the Jimmy Kimmel Live show is recorded at the El Capitan Studios, while the After Midnight and The Price is Right shows are filmed at the Havens Studios in Glendale.
