In her post’s description, the star of Freaky Friday expressed that she couldn’t reach her home or the Palisades to personally see the “awful devastation” and offer help to her friends by working alongside them and giving hugs.
She mentioned that the situation felt incredibly “tangible” when she visited Target to get something essential for herself. She disclosed that there was an individual shopping alone, pushing a cart. The actress conveyed that it was apparent he had suffered a great loss, as he was buying items like underwear, socks, sweatpants, shoes, and water.
Curtis stated that they were mutually gazing at each other. In her narrative, she described them both hugging and subsequently, they both cried. Remarkably, a similar event transpired with another woman who, much like the first, had a loaded cart filled with clothes and food, carrying out similar actions.
The performer went on saying, “It made the pain and despair these individuals are experiencing strikingly clear. I consider myself fortunate to return to my home someday, and I will make every effort to assist those who don’t have that luxury.
