This coming weekend, Saturday Night Live is taking a post-holiday hiatus. It’s set to come back on January 18, 2025, with comedian Dave Chappelle hosting his fourth episode in the series. The eagerly awaited musical guest for this comeback will be GloRilla.

Tonight, SNL isn’t releasing a new episode, but instead, NBC is replaying the episode that originally aired on November 2, 2024. This was the sixth time John Mulaney hosted the show. In his opening act, he shared a humorous perspective on fatherhood and growing older.

1) The program included the latest episode from Mulaney’s well-liked New York music series, this time taking place at a Duane Reade in Port Authority, as well as an emotional pre-recorded segment featuring a space-traveling monkey named Beppo.

Chappell Roan graced the stage with a performance of her popular tune Pink Pony Club, and also introduced her new country-flavored composition titled The Giver for the first time.

This year marks Saturday Night Live’s golden jubilee, and to celebrate, they have rolled out a special online event called “50 Seasons in 50 Days,” which is highlighting classic skits from the show’s entire run.

The gathering features well-loved skits like “Ryan Gosling’s Papyrus,” “SNL 40: Celebrity Jeopardy,” and “(Do It on My) Twin Bed.”
