As Anthony Brewer in this new television series, Schwimmer, famously known for his role in Friends, is demonstrating his acting range. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor reminisced about spontaneously incorporating the memorable “gross” scenes from the show using a gardening tool.

In one episode of the series, Schwimmer unsettles viewers by referring to a slimy creature that emerged from his brother’s sewer as a “goo.” Later in the scene, after much shouting and the extended use of a gardening tool, the creature is no longer visible on screen.

Regarding the substance in question, the actor commented that “it was a clever decision to color it black instead of red. To me, it seems quite intelligent because it evokes a distinct response from our minds while we’re watching. It feels more revolting than gruesome.
