I, Jamie Lee Curtis, felt a mix of emotions as I appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Initially, I was thrilled by the warm welcome I received. However, as I thanked the audience for their kindness, my heart filled with concern as I thought about the wildfires ravaging the very place I call home in Los Angeles.
She became emotional as she disclosed that the Pacific side of the Palisades was entirely ablaze.
In a mix of speaking directly to the audience and conversing with the host, the actress from Freaky Friday expressed her feelings by saying, “I’m almost on the verge of tears, primarily due to that heartwarming welcome.” She continued, “I should mention that where I reside is currently ablaze. In fact, the entire city of Pacific Palisades is engulfed in flames.
Yesterday evening, the actress boarded a plane from Southern California, right before the fires broke out. During her flight to New York, Lee Curtis stated that she began receiving messages about the perilous scenario developing near her residence.
Expanding on the topic at hand, Arnold Schwarzenegger, known for his role in True Lies, shared, “This is actually where I reside. The market I frequently visit, the schools my children attend, and many, many friends call this place home. Unfortunately, due to the situation, countless friends have lost their homes. It’s truly heartbreaking.
Earlier, Curtis had alerted her social media audience about a concerning situation through an Instagram post.
